Question about Livvy Dunne commercial and NIL

I've seen the commercials for yoga pants on tv and I noticed that she doesn't say she goes to LSU and there is no mention of LSU.
Are the rules of NIL such that you can't promote the school? Would wearing purple and gold be against some rules?

Dunne's net worth has not been because of her ties with LSU
She had social media followers before she set foot on campus
From a gymnastics perspective she really hasn't set the world on fire at LSU
She could leave LSU right now and be just fine

I doubt it has anything to do w/ NIL rules; the schools have their own licensing and marketing agreements with their own manufacturers.

NIL stands for Name Image and Likeness. The company isn't paying her to use LSU's "NIL". The company is paying her to use HER NIL...which has nothing to do with LSU.
The company would have to get a license from LSU to include anything LSU related in the ad since LSU owns that "property"....not Dunne. Now, I do think that LSU is amenable to allowing the use of their trademark by their athletes in certain instances. But LSU would have to approve such.
