pulling for Bama. I always root for conference teams against OOC opponents. Bama winning isn't materially going to adversely affect our program - recruits already clearly know what Bama is. And there's prestige factor with another SEC national champion.

Conference loyalty - hard to believe this board is nearly unanimously opposite of that. Makes me wonder what the average age of posters is.

I'm in Phoenix and pulling for Clempson. Their fans are pretty dorky though.

I think it gives the perception that the SEC is a one team conference. It's just one team that keeps winning championships. It's becoming the Alabama and the little dwarfs conference.

frick Alabama, despite my disdain for Dabo Swinney and Clemson, I will be pulling for them.

BTW I always pull for SEC teams in nonconference and bowl games, just not these guys.

Easy decision. My favorite teams are LSU and whoever is playing Bama.

Go Clemson

LSU was in that game because Pitt beat WVU, not because Florida beat Ohio State.

that could be argued as well. we leaped a lot of teams to get there, mostly because we play in, and won the SEC.

Yes, Bama has been dominant recently. But four different SEC teams have won it all in the last 8 years. It's hardly a one-team conference.

2014 Ohio State
2013 Florida State
2012 Alabama
2011 Alabama
2010 Auburn
2009 Alabama
2008 Florida
2007 LSU

They honestly believe their program as a whole is in a different league than LSU.

They're in the top 5 program league while we're in the top 10 program league.

This is a worse case scenario for a NC game. Both teams are anathema for LSU fans. That dorky fake arse Dabo Swinney and his up start fake tigers with their fake 'death valley' vs the evil empire with the cheating egomaniacal midget and fat obnoxious red neck fan base. Will be a hard game to watch.

I disagree with you about Dabo Swinney. I will be pulling for the SEC despite the fact I hate Alabama and Nick Saban. Lets just say I won't be in a bad mood for the rest of the week if they happen to lose, though.LOL

Pulling for Clemson?
Not even a question, of course.

How can LSU fans even hate Clemson that much besides a meaningless chicken bowl?

I guess it makes it easier to swallow a loss when you feel that way. This was the beginning of Miles's last second losses. These close games always went his way during his first 5 years. That's why so many still love the guy. Unfortunately karma is starting to catch up to him.
