I would be very surprised if bama won by 10+. People don't realize how close the talent level really is. Les's anemic gameplan won't be holding LSU back anymore

People also don't realize how close the games have been in Tiger Stadium the last 2 times they've played there.

One goes to OT despite Bama's vaunted offense being shut down and largely based on a student PF penalty that gave up 4 points that would've changed the game in favor of LSU.

In 2012, LSU had them on the ropes and one blown defensive call where Bama just called a great play is the difference between a win.

In 2008, it went to OT.

Since 2006, LSU has played Bama at home 5 times and is 2-3 in those games with an average score of 20.6 to 20.6! I kid you not.

Even if you just look at it since Saban has been there, the average in those 4 home games is 22.25 to 18.75 in favor of Bama with the biggest win at 7 points and that came in OT.

I think Bama likely wins this, but it will be close.

My mind tells me Bama, but I have a gut-feeling that LSU wins this.

Exactly...people dont understand how good this LSU defense is. And the other factors playing a role: FRESHMAN QB, TIGER STADIUM, BANGED UP RUNNING BACKS, best DB OUT FOR THE SEASON.

an 8 pt spread is easy money. Tigers will be in this one and I think we shock the world and shut these frickers out.

LSU is going to straight up kick their asses.

None of this "squeak out a close win" bullshite.

Same way. Team looks a million times better, but they haven't really been tested yet.

During the Miles vs Saban era (10 games), LSU is 3-7 and four of those losses have been by less than 10 points.

3 out of 10 Saban has been Miles by 10+.
