It wasn't that hot yesterday, but they had just started practicing in full pads recently. Season was just scheduled, and then missed some for the hurricane scare. I heard it could have been heat exhaustion or heat stroke and its not clear right now.

Were they making those kids wear masks during practice?

I can't speak for DSHS, but the schools I know in the area have not been wearing any masks or face shields.

Not true. Most ER’s, especially the Lake and the like, have access to put a patient on hypothermia protocol . To preserve brain function in cardiac arrest.

The aunt has a facebook page where she has been putting updates
He did ok in transporting from BR to NO on helicopter and had a good night
This morning was not as good and the plan was to put him on ECMO
Hopefully the BR Children's hospital can hire a cardiologist so they can start using ECMO here instead of having to do everything in New Orleans.
Pray no hurricane and he to evacuate again.

Remy passed away last night. My wife is really close to his cousin. Such a tragic thing to someone so young. God bless the family and many prayers would be appreciated!
