Wouldn't go that far, but I do enjoy the older parks. Would like to see Tropicana in person; sorry that I missed ever seeing the 'Stros at the Astrodome.

I did get to watch a few games at Olympic Stadium (Montreal). It was a relative dump by that time, but it at least had some ambience. I guess kinda like the Cow Palace had the distinct aroma of ambience (i.e., cow shite) during the Maravich days.

I haven’t been to every stadium but Oakland Coliseum is by far the shittiest professional stadium I’ve ever been to.

I would like to see the Braves Territory get spliced in half, so yeah, bring a team to Charlotte.

My early MLB experiences were in the Astrodome so I sort of get what you’re saying but I’m not sure the Trop qualifies as a classic dome.

Been twice, yeah it’s a dump. Got to go out and throw some on the field before the game and the turf is jacked up too. No bullpens, which is actually cool to watch relievers warm up right in front of you, but can’t help but think it sucks for them.

The only other pro park I’ve watched a game is twice at PNC, which is a palace.

Do you feel the same way about the Superdome?

Turned a boring superbowl into something to talk about. The game ever got better after the lights went out

I'll never understand the trop hate. It's certainly not as nice as most MLB ball parks but I actually enjoy watching games there

I've been lucky enough to only have been to nice stadiums (Seattle, Houston, St. Louis, Cubs, Boston). Of those, Boston is by far the worst.

So it's just as unreliable as the Superdome?

Or to be more specific, just as unreliable as the Superdome was RIGHT AFTER taxpayers dropped a couple hundred million to refurbish the place post-Katrina.

I was fortunate to visit some of the classic stadiums (Wrigley, Fenway, Yankee Stadium-post 1976 renovation). Fenway is, by far, the worst of that lot. It’s a dump.

I saw someone reference the Astrodome. If you went to the Astrodome when it had the scoreboard, it was a cool place to watch a game. Once the scoreboard was torn down, the place really lost almost all of its character.

The Astrodome was the first stadium I visited and it’s the place I went to the most as a kid, so it has a special place in my heart. But Minute Maid Park is a better place to watch a game when the roof is open on a reasonable evening in April or May.

A Georgia fan who lives in Atlanta that doesn't root for the Falcons.

These Falcons/Atlanta sports fans jokes write themselves sometimes.

I despise bandwagon jumping fairweather fans. I never really cared about pro ball at all until my late teens and even then it was only for fantasy. I "pull" for them because they are the home team, but I am by no means at all a "fan".

IMO, it would be worse to pretend I was some die hard lifelong fan even though that would not be reality.

I haven’t been inside the Superdome, I’ve rode past it, but if the inside looks as shitty as the outside does then it takes the cake as the worst stadium.

I thought the Dome was nice until I saw Seattle, New England, Minnesota, and Atlanta's stadiums. It is without a doubt a dump.
