I don't either. My issue would be with the number of conference games when all of the other P5 conferences play 9.

Also, P5 teams playing FCS teams really needs to stop at some point. JMO.

Playing 1-10 Northwestern is probably the same as playing UAB.

I wonder if he knows that Michigan refused to play a single P5 OOC this year.

That extra OOC game props up the entire conference. They all get an extra rent a win.

UAB doesn’t have Big Ten players

You have Rutgers, Maryland, and the entire big 10 west. You don’t get to act like all P5 games are equal. The only team the sec has that is as consistently dogshit as any of the teams I mentioned is Vandy.

He does for those weak conferences exactly what Danny Kannell did for the ACC before he fell off the face of the earth after leaving ESPN

LSU and UGA will play 9 conference games.

The teams in the playoff discussion each year for the SEC play a 9th conference game.

If you say “what about Alabama and Tenneseee”, screw em. They didn’t even win their divisions.

Ya, shame on preseason top 10 teams for playing the Appalachian States of the world early in the season to practice for the real schedule.

Does Michigan and Clemson’s schedule give them a massive advantage?

It's definitely an advantage, but not something anyone is being prevented from taking advantage of.

If the B1G wasn't so weak at football they wouldn't have to worry about who the SEC was playing in November.

That happening will eliminate this criticism.

No it won't.

The criticism happens because the B1G is entitled. They believe that their conference should still be the center of college football.

They're not. The SEC is better at the top, the middle, and the bottom.

If we'd kept the original BCS formula that heavily weighted strength of schedule, then nobody would want these cupcake games. Now we have to pass the "eye test" for the committee by beating the Little Sisters of the Poor by 60 points.
