Not trying to be an a-hole but why is this on the Tiger Rant?
So long as Archie is alive there will never be a Manning wearing purple and gold. And frankly, he ain’t good enough to wear it anyway.

If I remember right, Georgia was a close second to Texas in his recruitment. And if any coach can handle the added spotlight of having a manning it’s Kirby Smart.

The mannings know you have to be surrounded by talent. He's not going to a team he has to carry. Overrated Arch at overrated UT is the right fit honestly.

Indiana. Cig will get one year starters every year.

Who cares, but this would be funny as hell.

It's more likely Sark gets fired. What makes him a good coach?

frick does this have to do with LSU?
Posted on 10/20/26 at 9:49 am to John Rambeaux
as long as he does NOT go to LSU any place is fine with me.

It would be great to see what Kiffin could do with Arch but SL is just getting recovered and understanding LK’s system. No reason to mess with that progress. He can only get better next year.

Toss up between Centenary and Grambling.

Southeastern. Mcneese. USL. Maybe a good jr college.

Georgia - would be a good fit
Miami - always in the market for a one year qb and he may be the best available
Tennessee - makes sense from a history perspective but he’s not a Heupel scheme guy. I personally don’t see this happening
LSU - would be a good fit, but don’t see the Manning’s letting that happen
Indiana - will need a qb. He’ll likely be the best available
Oregon - sleeper, but I think they’ll need a qb
For all those saying places like Virginia or worse. You’re out of your minds. Manning will be the number 1 qb in the portal if he ends up there and teams will be fighting over him. That’s not a statement on his talent, that’s a statement on what will be available in the portal. The only way that’s not true is if Kamario Taylor enters and he claims he won’t

We need to look at the possibility that he is not good enough to play in the SEC
There’s 16 SEC teams. He can probably start for one of them, just not a top team

I don't think Arch cares that Peyton went there but it might be a little bonus.
I think that would actually be the opposite and keep him from going to Tennessee
