Phil Mickelson paid golf course employees $500 to drive his phone around for hours

To avoid his wifes suspicions of him cheating. There are a lot of juicy details in this new article. Including how he showed his buddys wife nude photos and told her he'd leave the door open for her to come over later.
Apparently everyone knew about it and it was a running joke at the madison country club before he left.

During that period, Mickelson had dinner during a tournament week with friends. One of the women in attendance says, “Something felt off. He was behaving a little odd. Out of nowhere, Phil started asking the most inappropriate questions about my personal life and then propositioning me in graphic detail. He went on and on about how he had been fantasizing about me and all the things he wanted to do to me. It was incredibly awkward. The rest of us kept trying to change the subject but he was relentless. The more wine he drank the louder he got. There was a family at the table next to us and I have no idea what they heard. It was horrible – I was sweating profusely. It felt like verbal rape.” Two other members of the dinner party corroborate Mickelson’s behavior and lurid language.
Says the woman, “It’s shocking that he would try to take advantage of a friendship like that. It was very disorienting. You think you know someone and then they turn out to be a completely different person.”

Name a pair of sports figures, same period and same sport, whose “exploits” approach those of Phil and Tiger.

Most any two NBA players would probably laugh at Tiger and Phil

Jesus. In phils defense maybe she looked better 10 years ago?
The article states the timeframe he propositioned her was 2014. Not sure how old that pic is

Louisville employed Bobby Petrino and Rick Pitino at the same time. I can't imagine the shenanigans that happened after hours in those athletic offices.

There was a former Boston Red Sox player, who is from Metro St.Louis, who would go to the OTB, and ask my buddy to use his phone to call his wife or girlfriend.
He didnt want wife knowing he was gambling, and left phone at home, to not be tracked. But i wondered if there was more, as there would be more than 1 number he would call, after he would grab phone and dart outside.

Wilt + any other contemporary NBA player.

It’s impressive Phil has managed to not even catch an indictment for a securities crime

Straight to horny jail Phil.

Haha id say the difference is the way he was portrayed in golf media. Phil was the "good guy" during the broadcasts when they knew all this stuff and it was a running joke.
The entire tour knowing had to be a factor in his jump to LIV

Jeez, she varies from smoking to gross, depending on the pic. It's like the Seinfeld two face thing.
Did Phil's wife track him through "Life 360"?

Yeh it’s strange the feds buried Martha Stewart and left Phil alone. He seems to have actually been far more complicit

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
