How does this not alarm the casino to a possible problem with the card?

Yeah I thought most casino's got rid of cards after like an hour of play. How exactly did he go on a 3 day bender taking advantage of the same deck. What kind of mickey mouse casino is this.

He probably pulled this when he was down half a million. They were probably more than happy to comply with his request. Idiots.

Card counting is fine if you just do the thinking part... when you actually apply your thoughts to improve your betting outcomes then the casino takes notice.

FWIW - the casino is within their rights to throw out card counters after they detect them IMO, but they still should have to pay out whatever bets were made prior. I've always found the casino argument that gambling is engaging in a "game of chance" dishonest. Granted there is a chance of winning in the short term but if you play their games as they intend you play them for long enough there's no real chance you come out ahead.

Depends on the locality.

Vegas will throw them out. Atlantic City, OTOH, is not allowed to throw them out due to a NJ Supreme Court ruling but will intentionally do things to disrupt them, such as adding more decks to the shoe, shuffling more frequently, etc.

Is card counting still actually happening. Don't most casinos use like 8 deck shoots and shuffle all the time.

It still happens, but usually with teams instead of with individuals.

If you buy it on Ebay they can.

So inspectors are watching the game...and they have 9 cameras on him...

So his Asian companion who is banned in Casinos in Europe is asking the dealer to rotate the cards 180 degrees "because of superstition."

He goes up 2.3 mil at the end of the day...

and persuades the Caisno to hold the shoe with his rotated cards to play the next day.

This dealer reminds me of the movie Casino...

"You didn't think it was odd the slots would hit 3 times in one hour? Either he was in on it or too fricking stupid."

Sure they can refuse you by not letting you in, but its a long stretch to say they can refuse you after they already knew you were there and losing, then win.

Which ranks up there, with the best Landscaper, Best Window Washer, Best COD player, etc.

Explain? Guaranteed the top 1,000 professional poker players make at least 4 times what you do in a year and that's with me not knowing what you do. All to play a Game!

You seem to be one of "those guys" that say "but how much did you lose" when someone says they won $1k at the casino.
