A casino using "flawed cards" really shouldn't be taking 230,000 dollar bets.

no, i know for a fact..well nevermind.
seems like the two casinos that screwed up might need to be further investigated if they cant handle paying out. maybe have them closed down while all their books are being very very closely looked over.

Not the player's fault when the casino is the one fricking up.
Pay the man unless there is proof of him cheating.
If the casino has a problem with it, just don't let him back in.

Im surpised that half of you all know who Phil Ivey is TBH. I hope he wins his suit against the casino.

The only advantage he would have is knowing the first card. His bet has to be placed before the hand is dealt so the only card he would know before hand is the first one.

Looks like he might have schooled the casino.

Im sure its illegal, just like counting cards
Card counting is not illegal
Yet a casino can throw you out for what they claim you are doing -- For what you are thinking
Still waiting on an explanation of how this is constitutional

A private business has he right to refuse service to whomever they choose.

well when poker started to get big on TV ten years ago he was always featured and pretty much always wore a Houston Rockets jersey so he became fairly easy to recognize.

As long as you can come up with a reason you didnt serve them other than they were mexican, there is nothing wrong with that

No, they cant, but we are talking about casinos booting card counters.

But this part of the convo started by the guy saying it's illegal.
We can call it semantics of course, but it's certainly not "illegal".
