It's nice that they threw Waddle a lil bone and let him have his name next to Chase, happy for the kid.

No Treyvon Diggs, confirms some of the stuff I've heard/read about him being beat a good bit and out of position. It's hard to not focus on all those INTs though.

Come on man. Diggs is in the running for defensive player of the year in the entire NFL. If he was a rookie he'd be on this list. He is not a rookie though.

Last two seasons have some very promising early returns

Mac, Baremore, Rhamondre from this season and Kyle Dugger, Josh Uche and Micheal Omenwu from last year

Belicheck went through a big draft drought from 2016-2019 but might’ve solidified the teams foundation in the past two drafts.

Getting a first round talent as an undrafted free agent usually pays dividends.

I really don’t understand the way teams view those kind of players value

Like they’ll take a 3rd round swing on some guy who played 2 down of football and has 3 ACL tears but Trey smith isn’t worth a 5th rounder atleast because he may retire early one day or have complications that end his career? I get not wanting to risk a day 1-2 pick on that risk but after that I mean the value is too great to pass up. Some 3rd round picks don’t even make it out of camp, so if he ended up never playing a snap it’s not that huge of a difference really compared to what you get if he is able to play
