Mac Jones is Matt Leinart.

Both had the luxury of amazing players around him where he didn’t have to do much. Once it was time to fly out of the nest without help, they’ll flop right out of the tree on their face.

Tom Brady has a dad bod .

Are you sure you didn't mean 2021 instead of 2022, a possible typo?

I am sure Alabama fans will downvote, but I feel like Jones may not fare well in the NFL. He kind of reminds me of Greg McElroy. So maybe Jones will become a football commentator.

Don’t worry you’re about the 10000th person to say something like that

GMac couldn't hold Mac's jock as a QB, no offense to him. Mac Jones deep ball is lightyears better.

Agreed. TL will be a bust for the same reason as Mac. We really don't know how they will perform with a neutral supporting cast that cannot out talent every team they play. Tight windows, clean pockets, never really been tested in that environment.

Zach Wilson will be the steal of the draft.

He’s a fuking frumpy stiff. Will never take a snap in the league.

Mac will be better than Burrow in the league, that is FOR SURE.

The one thing Mac has going for him is he will likely be drafted by a team that was either in the playoffs or close to the playoffs this season. He will be in a much better situation than Burrow, Lawrence, etc. There is a reason a team is drafting #1.

Also, and this is big; he has only started around 15 games in college.

Don't know about that. He's been in the
program 4 years and even if he didn't get full time PT til the end of his 3rd year,he was practicing against some of the best personnel in CFB.

If he was the next Brady, he would have been starting in front of TUA.

Tom Brady sat behind Brian Griese in college and Drew Bledsoe in the NFL. Joe Burrow had to transfer to QB wasteland to get playing time. Try not to broadcast your ignorance to the world if you can help it.

When did you ever see Greg McElroy operate an offense near what Alabama's is now? It's fine if you don't thing Mac Jones is great, but come on, McElroy?

I'm an LSU fan and I will go ahead and say that I think Jones looks like an NFL QB based on my casual fan eye test.

The way he throws the ball is really pretty to watch. The arc that he puts on medium to long throws is perfect. Plenty of zip and yet soft enough to make the catches look easy.

Did having Smith, Harris, and Metchie help him?? Sure but he still made the throws. I like the way he plays and throws.

Disclaimer: I am not an NFL scout and I also did not watch all of his games.
