Penn State should have got the death penalty. The most disgusting and despicable cover up in the history of sports. Two decades of covering up pedophilia and they get a slap on the wrist. There are human beings on the Penn State board of trustees that are despicable human beings and that have beliefs concerning Paterno, Sandusky and Penn State that would make you physically ill.
Until that university competely dissasociates itself from those types of individuals and until those individuals no longer have enough support from Penn State people to be in those positions I will continue show disgust with that university.

So then how should anyone support UF Football given the fact that Aaron Hernandez was convicted of murder and Urban Meyer always knew he was a bad apple?
Every program has the right to clean house and start over. And Penn State has produced a lot of great people including athletes just like every other school in the US.

I don't. I believe that if you preach character, honesty and integrity (basically what his book was about) then you had damned well better be living it. Although I appreciate a lot of what Tressel did for the university I've lost respect for him at the same time.

I would be fine with Penn State cleaning house and starting over after they were given the death penalty and football was shut down for three years. Instead, the NCAA let them off easy which is infuriating. With how quickly Penn State has been able to recover, it was basically a small bump in the road.
