I enjoyed watching him (and Ingram before him) at duke but I understand if pelicans fans are done with him. What is the general feeling in the pelicans fan base? Build around Ingram or do you still have hope Zion puts it together and stays healthy?

I do not believe moving him yet is the right call unless the return is more than his perceived value.

We saw last year how good he could be. I understand its a major risk but I would take it one more time.

Id like him gone. He has clearly checked out mentally a long time ago. He’ll never win anything here! He’ll actually step on the court in Miami, LA, NYC. Might as well get something for him.

Last year for him to prove people wrong. I think that's a consensus which is why so many people wrestle with trading him now while he still has some value.

I’m just afraid that he may never be “Zion” again. Seems like a low character guy.

This. It's been frustrating but it's not a Greg Oden situation. When he plays, he's probably a top 5 player.

I'm terrified it'll be an Embiid situation. You have to see it through to conclusion here, IMO. He's that good.

I will say though, if the Blazers offer Scoot, Sharpe, and more, that's probably the only thing I'd be okay with. Still would prefer to keep him though.

Yep. Move on. Whatever he has to offer won't be for NO.

Pelican fans would dance on Al Hirt's grave if Portland would be willing to trade their 3rd pick for Zion.

I'll convince myself that whatever we do is what we should've done, and then I'll be disappointed by December.

It would take much more than the 3rd pick to get Zion.

I see you don't visit the Pelicans board much. The majority on here/Pelicans board want to keep him/give him another shot. I know I do. Trading him for a high draft pick is just starting over.

Zion is a bozo, no doubt. But when healthy, he's an unstoppable force. In Zion you know what you've got. An often injured guy but if he stays healthy he can be an MVP level player. In Scoot, it's an unknown and almost a certainty a guy with not nearly the ceiling as Zion.

The talent is enticing, but if the Pelicans can get some folks who are motivated to play, it may be worth it. I don't think you can teach motivation and Zion doesn't have it.

Personally, I want Scoot, Sharpe and the treasure chest from Portland over him. Great talent, but it’s not going to work here. Scoot seems like a leader and can fit in this offense well considering we need a true point to get BI more open looks

A healthy Zion. A Zion that wants to play basketball. But you don't own that Zion. You have a problem child on your hands.

You don't have to believe everything you hear. A ton of hearsay comes from what you hear. But you had better believe what you see. After 3 years and the latest Ben Simmon imitation, once the Playin game began, you should have seen enough. Otherwise, you won't be GM very long in the NBA.

Well, Zion for 3 doesn’t work as a legal trade so…
