Can you imagine being traded from the Pats to the Browns?

The best organization in sports to the worst.

Goddamn.

From Michael Lombardi

Collins on the second play of the game does whatever he wants and Bills gain 28 yards. Been happening all year. It was not going to continue

But the Patriots are the kind of team that would reject a 2nd round pick from the Broncos so that he'd be stuck in Cleveland. That's the price for questioning The Patriot Way.

Well the Saints 3rd won't be as good as Clevland's 3rd. And no way in hell should they give up a 2nd for a guy who will be a FA in a year and half.

Supposedly it is a 3rd round compensatory pick, meaning it will be at the end of the 3rd round before the 4th round starts.

Also, this is the first time teams have been allowed to trade compensatory picks (2017 draft). Lastly, depending on how NFL free agency works out in 2017, the Patriots could have let Collins walk then and still receive a compensatory pick for him in the 2018 draft.

Should allow them to make resigning Hightower a priority though, and free up the funds to do so, so that's nice for all involved

The Pats pass rush has missed Jones despite the 7-1 records.

The funds would be there when you let him walk and get a fourth at worst compensation pick.

There's no spinning it, football wise this is a fricking idiotic trade. Atleast people knew Easley was a frick head before the trade.

Is this an indication that Keke Mingo is looking promising (finally)?

I sure hope so

Yes and no. They legit are not attempting pass rushes in half their games. They were playing contain on Landry Jones.
