Probably more than you think since he probably has another birth name, and it's probably be worse.

People who think ESPN made Pat are out of the loop. He has a massive following on his YouTube shows and was fine before joining the network

He's a 40yo that acts like he's 14. No one cares about his comments.

True, but very few people turn down the chance to make more money.

I'm also too old for the fratboy vibe, and I'm not his target audience

I love how everyone calls anyone that’s a loud douche “frat.” McAfee is about as far from SEC frat as you can possibly be

Everyone knows this

He left a 4 yr 120 mil contract with Fanduel for a 5 yr 85 mil with ESPN. I guess it opened him to a different audience but it didn't make a bunch of sense given there was a 100% chance he'd run into creative conflicts.

I like Hawk. He has some good takes and he’s the adult in the room on that show. I can tolerate the show for about an hour before all the bro stuff gets out of hand. Hawk rarely, or never , partakes.

And what's the extra exposure his brand gets for airing on ESPN worth? Fanduel is nice and all, but this was his opportunity to bring his show to a bigger platform.

He's the one that randomly asked Rodgers about Epstein which led to the current sandbagging of the show.

Hawk completely understands what makes Rodgers entertaining. There's a reason Rodgers is on their show regularly.

McAfee is looking for somebody to blame for his show collapsing in ratings.

McAfee show on ESPN seeing viewers drop 48% from 'First Take' lead-in

quote:

Since the inception of McAfee’s show on ESPN in the fall, Stephen A. Smith and “First Take” are handing McAfee a 583,000 viewer lead-in, and McAfee is maintaining just 302,000, which is a 48 percent drop.

As compared to the same window last year, which featured “SportsCenter,” McAfee is down 12 percent. On FS1, Colin Cowherd’s show has nearly beaten McAfee on some days and saw 19 percent growth from last year to average 156,000 viewers.

Some people have to go to work, and do things during the day. Just because an 8:00 AM show (which may be 7:00 AM in another time zone) has a certain amount of viewers doesn’t mean a show in the mid morning to noon will have the same viewers.

I think he’s made them better. It’s actually entertaining.

A hell of a lot better than sad kid cancer stories and Lee Corso (the GOAT in his prime).
