Religion based anything scamming money? Say it ain't so. Its only been the calling card of the industry forever. Its a tenet. Pastors are some of the best salesmen I've ever witnessed.
That said, Tebow is being targeted in this particular "scandal" because of who he is and what his public persona is. Im a cynic when it comes to most holier than thou people but for as long as hes been famous, something unscrupulous in Tebows life would've been out before if there were something there.

It's gray for me there. The people should know better, but Life Surge gets a guy like Tebow to come speak to help establish trust.

Met Tebow multiple times. Been around for hours behind the scenes. He's never been anything but overly nice. So nice that it feels like an act.
His handler was also a total a-hole.

Might just be me, but I feel like it’s still a moral failure to take a big bag of cash without doing in research into who is paying it and what you are putting your brand/name on. Especially when it’s something directly tied to your faith and being such a faith forward media figure.

They probably had no idea concerning the behind the scenes “tactics” Life Surge was using on the good-hearted attendees.

Our dads were college roommates at uf and seminary. I met the family before tim type shite, and tim was how i learned what an abortion was, at 7 lol. They are genuinely nice people, they're just not who you'd use as your phone a friend lifeline.
With that all said, timmy is heavily involved with multiple businesses with a kid i know from church, Ricky Caplin. Ricky's company is who built the concentration camp known as alligator alcitraz. You don't have to look very far in his circle to find some very tight affiliations with some unsavory arse shite.
