So....if P Diddy buys an NFL franchise it will raise the average black IQ by 20 points?

You need to get in on the pharmacy thread on the OT bro. Youre needed

I doubt P Diddy has the money. Even Magic Johnson, a pretty astute businessman could only afford a partial interest in the Dodgers.
I just don't see anyone in the music business able to make the kind of cash needed given how the music business has changed. Artists don't sell as many records as they used to due the digital music revolution and how artists don't need record companies like they used to with digital music.
P. Diddy can't even count on royalties since he samples so much. He doesn't even own 100 percent of his biggest hits.
Maybe if P Diddy gets lucky with investments out of the music industry.
Pretty sure Diddy would kill himself if he woke up with Magic's bank account.

My favorite people in this thread are the ones who make it a point to appear blasé about the significance of a black NFL owner.

He better find a cool 50 billion then.
All an nFL team is to their owners is a playstation game. A weekend home. A fancy car. Just a toy to play with.

I was hoping it'd be Samuel L.

Yeah, most of the owners that arent as rich are the ones that have had the team passed down to them. Diddy ain't getting an NFL team.

i don't care if he owns a team.. i just hate the logic, "And I think it's time for that"
I have aspirations to be the first starting white cornerback in the NFL since Jason Sehorn. It's been a decade and I think it's time for that.

Wouldnt surprise me if it was pushed because Goodell thought it was "good for the league"

You sure about that?

Wait, so he wants to be the first owner from Africa?
Thought he was born in the Bronx?

The Dodgers sold for over $2 billion, in a cash transaction.

I know that's a joke but Oprah could definitely do it without being over leveraged if she wanted to.

It's not like the guy is going to roll up plop down some cash and walk away with a franchise even if he had the cash. The NFL owner's club is the most exclusive club in the world. Not a chance in hell this happens anytime soon. It's like owning a big arse yacht or a Gulfstream. You can't just have the money to buy it. You have to have the liquid assets to maintain it. Dude isn't close.
