Out of these borderline HoF QBs, which was the best at their peak?

Andrew Luck

Phillip Rivers

Eli Manning

Russell Wilson

Carson Palmer(not near HOF, but had a high peak)

I lean Rivers, personally.

Talent wise Rivers. He had some Marino in him, for good and some bad.

Only one of them had Jim Nantz send it to CBS' 60 Minutes very week after a game ending interception pass.

I don’t think Wilson is borderline. His resume is very, very similar to Big Ben and his career is far from done.

He probably won't make it but Luck behind center made Indy a very good team. Without him they were mediocre at best.

You don’t think he belongs on the list? I think he’s the best of those choices.

Eli and Wilson are not borderline. Both are comfortably in the HOF.

Wilson had the highest peak and will have more HOF caliber years which, I think, will give him not just the highest but also longest peak.

While I think Manning is safely in the HOF and Rivers is borderline, I think Rivers peak was higher and while I think Rivers has a better shot at HOF (due to longevity) than Luck, I think Luck had a higher two year peak.

Post Season-
Eli & Wilson have a combined 17 playoff wins & will be enshrined in Canton. Not sure about the other 3.
Luck= 4-4
Rivers= 5-7
Palmer= 1-3

I’d say at their absolute best, it’s Luck (barely) but his peak was so short it almost doesn’t matter. Rivers is next.

Palmer is up there too. He might be the answer had he not played for the Bengals.

Rivers. Always liked that dude.

If he had played a full career, Luck woulda been a first ballot HoF'er. Neck Beard just couldn't stay healthy.
