I didn't see any lack of effort on their part. They held onto the rope, Bertman style.
Community leaders to the core.
But, we'll see what the offseason brings. Orlando is only a month away, and my baw is all up in that. He's coming in for the Arkansas game though.
11 AM kickoff sucks.

Damn a Palm Beach spring training trip would be so badass
Since some of the discussion has already started, I’ll go ahead and get the offseason thread rolling this weekend. Should be an incredible day in the city tomorrow with the parade

Yeah, 11 am LSU kickoffs are like well-done steak. Just why?

A little sidenote. My friend knows Reid well, and I mentioned to Jwho the possibility of getting some DAT guys together for a W Palm Spring Training trip that might include some privileges. I'll keep you posted.
That’s badass, Spring training is so much fun and I’m sure even better now that it moved from Kissimmee to WPB

Free agent RPs that should all get a good look this off-season:
Wade Davis (duh)
Addison Reed
Jake McGee
Anthony Swarzak
Brian Duensing
Yusmeiro Petit
Joe Smith
Matt Albers
Tommy Hunter
Steve Cishek
Juan Nicasio
Brandon Morrow
Brandon Kintzler
Tony Watson
Bud Norris
Craig Stammen
Pat Neshek
Jason Motte
Koji Uehara (but he's 42...)
No shortage of effective RPs on the market.

Also Astros open @ the Rangers next year. There's a true opening day next year (every team opens on the same day) but I wonder if Astros Rangers gets the prime time slot on ESPN since the Astros will be defending champs (still feels weird to say this). The only big traditional rivalry that day is Dodgers-Giants (which they might put as a late game after)

There is a certain sadness that baseball Is gone now. But this postseason wore me out. I'm savoring the greatest astros team I'll Ever see

I still can’t get over the fact Houston beat the 3 highest payrolls to win the damn thing. Boston has the least expensive of the 3 playoff rosters Houston faced at 222 mill, while Houston’s total roster was 149 mill. Crazy thing is how this roster should stay intact for another year or two at minimum. In Luhnow I trust. Go Stros!

This morning it just sunk in that we have 100+ days until more baseball.

Lot easier to wait that 100 days as the champs. This post season was rough on my sleep schedule (and liver) so I'm welcoming the break for now

Baseball reference projects our 2018 payroll to be $142M (includes arb estimates and assumes picking up all contract options, which we will for both altuve and Marwin), so there is definitely some flexibility to add relievers or try to extend Altuve
