This is for all the marbles boys. No matter what happens, this club is in for a long run of playing for titles.

I mean, technically, the declining club shipped Darvish away.

From all accounts, Darvish liked playing for Texas.

Doesn't matter, the Astros are going to get to him.

Actually I'd bet on another low-scoring game like game 6, just with the Astros on top.

It's not Lance you need to believe in. It's the bats on the road that need to step up.

Stros blew their best shot last night with Upton’s man on the bump.

Astros also have to face Wood and Kershaw tonight, too.

Good luck with that.

Honestly, I don't think the Astros hitters would mind seeing Kershaw on two days rest.

Thoughts on moving Reddick to the 2 hole? Sounds nuts but:

1. You know Hinch is not going to bench him
2. If you're going to play him, might as well give him some protection in front of Altuve. He's hit 2nd almost all year against RHP.
3. Most importantly, you stretch the lineup with Bregman hitting 6th and break up the RH bats.

I'd rather bench him but it's not happening in game 7.

179 games this year and it all comes down to #180. Let’s get it.

I just hope they can bounce on Darvish quick again. Their experience with him is a huge advantage, IMO.

But again, if those bats don’t supply something for their pitcher, it doesn’t matter how McCullers does on the mound.

I’m going to take the Lou Pai route and blame Hinch for something....anything. I’ll come up with something later in the thread. We will see how my day goes.

I don't hate it... he did have a double in his one at bat against Darvish in game 3. And it makes it a little harder for Roberts' bullpen strategy to break up the 5 straight righties at the top of the lineup.

No. Having Bregman between Springer Altuve and Correa is their best chance at stringing a bunch of hits together and putting up runs. Especially if they can do it early tonight

If he's not gonna try something different with him, he might as well bench him then

I don't disagree. Though he did hit Darvish well. I wouldnt have minded seeing Maybin last night esp vs a LH but it can't be done over
