uninspired at best imo

I was never a fan of the pinstripe basketball uniforms. New Logo is okay and kind of makes sense, but the type they used for the uniforms really isn't great. Blue, black and white aren't great colors to work with; but all told the new designs are okay.

heh personally I’ve always kind of liked their blue/black color scheme and pinstriped jerseys both are unique to NBA, if nothing else.

new Magic logo/uniforms aren’t horrible, I suppose - just happen to think having a sport ball in your official logo and/or uniforms is fricking gay beyond words. something I’d expect to see in U-10 soccer, not professional sports jmo

Oddly enough, the NBA requires you to have a basketball in your logo, that's why they're always forced in there. They have some grandfathered logos, like the Trailblazers and Bulls etc. and they loosened the rules a few years ago and teams like the Bucks snuck in logos without it, but one is supposed to be in there. They are back to more strongly suggesting it, if not downright forcing it.

People are so dramatic about this shite

My favorite are the uniform threads in football where people are like "Alabama has the best uniform!!!" when it's just solid red jerseys with white writing

I believe the NBA has some kind of branding clause that requires a basketball to be incorporated into the primary logo for some reason.

Spurs, Warriors, Cavs, Bucks, Hornets, Grizzlies, Trailblazers

The logo is kind of meh but all three jerseys are pretty dope. Definitely like them

I think I'm the opposite.

Logo is clean and ages well. The jerseys have throwback appeal, but if they launched for the first time today I'd say they were amateur MS paint garbage

I was always a fan of the pinstripe uniforms. Orlando does it well with stripes on BOTH the jersey and pants...unlike the Hornets who evidently didn't have enough money to put stripes on the shorts.

The Hornets have one in their logo. Bottom of the Hornet near the stinger. Kind of clever how they worked it in.

A few teams like the Trailblazers, Spurs, Bulls etc. have grandfathered ones without it. They loosened the rules for a few years and teams like the Grizzlies, Bucks and a couple others snuck in ones without a ball for a main logo, but must have one secondary variant with one like the Grizzlies with the claw and the shield for the Cavs. The grandfathered ones still don't have to comply. I believe they are being more strict again these days for legal protection.

I think the pinstripes in every color spoils the jersey if they were solid colors they look much better
