This game is very tricky. The teams are similar in PPG and Points allowed.
Difference in FT%. Wisky shoots 65% and Oregon shoots 72%.

Down the stretch, if close, I would count on Oregon more.

Good rule. Bet against Pac-12 athletic teams.

Unless they're playing baseball, volleyball, softball and water polo.

Except the Big-10 is the best volleyball conference.

A lot of experts are picking Oregon, which means Wisconsin will win by 20.

I just can't pick a PAC-12 team to win a game in this tourney. They're not good. Maybe if Oregon had Bol Bol healthy.

Oregon got Louis King healthy later on, and he was a 5 star recruit and very talented. Bol was a huge loss for them, but they have more talent then they did for a bit there after he went down.

The Pac does suck this year, though. I don't think Oregon are as bad as they looked at times, but they're definitely not any guarantee.

Hopefully ASU gets hammered by St. John's. That's the only Pac result I care about this year.

Oregon's defense is winning it for them lately

Same for Wisconsin all season. For Wisconsin it's going to come down to having somebody besides Happ score and hoping that FT's don't hurt them badly enough to lose.

- Both teams play similar pace and scoring opportunities will be at a premium. Neither offense is very efficient, but Wisconsin plays elite-level defense. They rank No. 3 per KenPom. Unfortunately, scoring has been difficult for this team.

- Each team's best player has no shortage of NCAAT experience. Ethan Happ has been part of multiple Sweet 16 teams, but was a RS during Wisconsin's run to the National Championship in 2015. On the other side, Payton Pritchard was an integral component to Oregon's Final Four run a few years ago.

- Difficult to tell how good Oregon is. Three of the six worst teams in the B1G might be better than the Pac-12's best team, Washington.

- Wisconsin has lost multiple games this year because of their severe lack of FT shooting. Have to imagine this will be their undoing in the NCAAT. Just a matter of when. Wisconsin is capable of making a run to the Sweet 16 (six times in eight years, which is tied for most nationally) or looking like 2013 and scoring 46 points in the Round of 64.

KenPom has the raw numbers as Wisconsin winning by 5! I know Oregon is on a roll but 5 points of line difference (it's a pick 'em now) is huge. Usually a hot team will come in around two points off the efficiency numbers.

Don't know who I'll pick in a bracket but I'll sure as hell have a couple bucks on the game.

UCLA

And if we're talking about Indoor Volleyball:

National Champs Men's:

UCLA - 1970, 1971, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2006

Women's:

Stanford - 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2016, 2018

The most of any school.

In their last 15 trips to the NCAA tourney, UW has lost in the first round only 3 times. Now, I get that every year is different, and this year's squad has had its struggles, but history would seem to indicate they will move on.

Seth Davis picking against UW is not some indication of his knowledge. He does it every year.

I can see why it is a tough game to pick. Wisconsin can make Oregon fall asleep with their offense and Oregon can blind Wisconsin with their uniforms.

I'm sick of playing Oregon. This will be the 3rd time in March since the 2014 tourney.

Close 2nd: K State and Arizona (though we beaten both every time we've played them since 2000...Arizona we've beaten 4 times in March, twice when they were a 1 seed )
