Pretty much over in CUSA land. Liberty up 14 with the ball with under 3 left.

Daniels better Han both of these.

The “maintain control while going to the ground” rule doesn’t seem it should apply there. He caught it standing up straight, started running, got hit, hit the ground, lost the ball.

He doesn't know how to set his feet. Always running out of the pocket. Did the same thing at Auburn.
He is never under control.

100% they rule this incomplete.

That rule seems like some absolute bs and can't believe it hasn't been addressed before. On 3rd and long, assuming the down marker is within the team's area on the sideline, just hide a DB on the sideline and wait for the QB to think his guy is open, only for the DB to sprint off the sideline and intercept

I’ve been switching back and forth between Penix being a steady NFL starter or a high end backup. That throw has moved him into the second group for the time being.
He's got arm talent, he is just so careless with his throws. Fortunately he's played in the Pac 12 and gotten away with it most of the year

Penix is a great QB, but nearly every throw is with him falling back, which is why he has struggled in stretches this season.
He doesn’t set his feet but his arm is great.
If he can get his footwork cleaned up, he will be a great NFL QB, but this throwing off his back foot shite won’t fly in the NFL.

Now I question every sideline report I hear
"did that really happen?"

SO just have 10 players on defense on the off chance the QB throws one near the sidelines?
