close loss to mich trumps loss to freaking wash state.

And conference title trumps no conference title. 12 wins trumps 11 wins.

osu is ranked ahead of wash. if they both lose today you think wash is jumping osu?

If they beat Oregon next week they will

The CFB playoff committee criteria specifically mentions conference titles, it does not mention “quality of loss”

Ohio State to the Gator (3rd place Big10 team) vs. Tennessee (if the committee doesn't give them a bye to the National Championship game).

Seems clear cut at this point it should be SEC winner, Michigan, PAC 12 winner and either Texas or FSU. Don’t think a non-conference champ gets in this year.

Georgia or Alabama
Michigan
Oregon or Washington
Texas

That’s what it should be, unless Alabama loses to Auburn

If Florida State goes undefeated and Texas wins the Big 12 Alabama would need Oregon to beat Washington to make it in.

That's a big if, too.
