Most of the best recruiting programs do stuff like this. Maybe they could have let the kid know a little sooner, though. It is awfully close to NSD ...

I agree that the timing is bad but UM's recruiting is on fire right now, tons of top recruits are leaning towards Michigan. Harbaugh's problem is he took too many of these lowly rated recruits and now hes' scrambling to make room for the big boys. This won't be the last kid this happens to either.
