Monday Brusly was down 7-1 to U-High after 5. Brusly scores 3 in top of the 6th and 7 in the top of the 7th to lead 11-7.
U-High batter that struck out to end the 6th leads off with a homer in the 7th and is called out for batting out of order.

Curtis always played in 4A, they never played up to 5A.

I didn't agree with the ban.... just stating facts
and.. NO... the bad blood sewn across LA when JC and ECA got sent down to 1a and 2a respectively and later 3a...
was allowed to fester too long..... causing lots of mis trust.

How are umps supposed to enforce this? Coaches are the ones who should review walk-up music prior to games. Umps have WAYYYY too much other stiff theya re focusing on to worry about listening for vulgar lyrics.

West Monroe cuts Pineville 15-3 in 6. WM was up 12-0, gave up 3 in the bottom of the 7th. Came back and put up 3 on a triple with a throwing error inside the Parker. Senior Day tomorrow at WM at 1.

West Ouachita takes both from Neville to remain alone at the top of 2-4A. LSU commit Zach Watson SS for WO hit ball hard all weekend but couldn't find holes. Kid can fly though as JJ said earlier. Beat out a couple hard hit infield singles in the first game. JJ, do you know when/if WO vs. WM will be made up considering the makeup of the Neville games for WO got in the way?

Heard no make up. I've heard multiple different possible reasons and I can't confirm exactly why. Good luck to WO in the playoffs.

We'll see how it turns out. I would feel a lot better about WM's chances with Williams. A lot of very solid arms, but we don't have that shut down Ace IMO. For example, if the playoffs started today, WM would host St Amant and Ace Blayne Enlow in a one game do or die matchup. WM beat him earlier in the year 5-4, but it was due to errors. He did a phenomenal job. That game could've gone either way. Single elimination is stupid in baseball. You get paired with a 25 seed and have to face possibly the best pitcher in the state?

2/3 whole way is the way to go... even if you limit playoffs to 16 teams but then we would need 22 classes

I'm all for 1-8 hosting 4 team "regionals" just like the NCAA. Double elimination Thursday-Saturday. Then 1/8, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5, 1/8 winner vs 4/5 winner and 2/7 winner vs 3/6 winner followed by the state finals. All 2 out of 3 series after the first round, which is double elimination. It would take 4 weeks total, a week less than football.

St Amant takes Game 1 from Dutchtown 3-1. Huge win for the Gators. St Amant wil finish second in the district no matter the outcome on Thursday with the season finale against Dutchtown. St Amant has been pretty good the last few weeks. Could be a team that could make a run in the playoffs if they do what they have done the last few weeks.
