In the Houston area I've seen fans search social media to find out who the players GF is and make fat heads of the gf and start chanting the gf name when the player comes up. Ridiculous

At a local DFW suburban rivalry game a few weeks back, one of the student sections had a fathead of the other teams best players mugshot. Apparently he was arrested last year for a DUI. Savage

i didnt hear the interview
as far as sam, running around taunting and talking shite. i left pretty much right after to walk back to other field but even i saw that and there were complaints later about the celebration and the chippiness of it.
i personally had to problem with it...spoils go to the victors but dont get butt hurt when someone does it back.

In my umpire days, I have seen about 7 or 8 coaches do that, all of them OUTSTANDING coaches.

Yep. No problem with what was written IF that is the copy you keep for your own dugout. Submitting that as official for the rest to see, disrespectful.
If you ever get a chance to listen to a WM football/baseball radio broadcast as an opposing fan, you will see the problem here. They never feel like it is them, it is always somebody else. They walk into a room, pull the pin on a grenade, drop it, leave, and ask "what did I do? It is always the refs, luck, bounce of a ball, the dog ate the homework, etc.

i will say this, if Barbe is classless and a problem, then how come all the barbe coaches are all over twitter reaching out to the WM players telling them great game, how they will be back and how they loved watching them play?
dont see any WM coaches doing that to the Sam Houston players etc. Just saying.

who JC? bro i could care less and nothing would surprise me. Im a st louis guy, not a barbe guy. i do respect the frick out of the cechinnis though. Glen and his family are great people overall and done a ton for the baseball in SWLA
