Dude absolutely deserved it. Piazza will get in next year IMO. Not sure Bagwell will ever get in unfortunately.

9% of voters didn't vote for Pedro? NINE?! That's insane.

I'm happy for Smoltz, even if Schilling has a better resume (and maybe Mussina, though that's a judgement call). Hopefully his election will be used to lobby for their cases. The best case for election is how you are similar to guys inducted.

Sad for Raines. He's never getting in, and he deserves it. Second best leadoff hitter ever, only with the terrible misfortune to play at the same time as the best one.
