Petco in SD is phenomenal. Giants made a massive upgrade moving from Candlestick to Oracle Park. Las Vegas did the same getting out of Cashman Field into the new Las Vegas Ballpark.

Expos - Olympic Stadium

Bills - Orchard Park

Prob Bills. Had to leave the stadium to use the bathroom in a cinder block bunker. Bleacher seats. No ice available in the stadium.

Wished I would have seen OPs post last night. I got fixated on that game because of all the weird stuff going on in the stadium. It was almost empty so the mic was picking up every taunt, every chant, random bongo drums, you name it. It was hilarious to just listen to the sounds in that stadium.

The media used to love propping this shithole up

To be fair, the Skins played in it when they were really good so the place had a reputation for being a loud and wild atmosphere.

It was supposed to be demolished a year or two ago but that's been pushed back. I think they're hoping for next year.

he usher made me walk to guest services to let them know of the situation, and have them give me another seat. Wouldn’t just let me move over to one of the other 35k seats that were empty there that day

Why even get the usher involved? If it was that empty why not just move yourself?

Atlanta Fulton County Stadium was a shithole

It did improve after it was just used for the Braves after the Falcons moved to the Dome

on the verge of collapsing

Wrigley Field is a complete shithole. Even in its last years, old County Stadium in Milwaukee and Tiger Stadium were better.

I'm really surprised no one has said the old Metrodome in Minneapolis. That was horrible for baseball. Probably the worst sightlines of any stadium I'd ever been in for baseball.

Never been but you hear complaints just like at Fenway that the seats are WAY TOO SMALL for (ahem) "modern fans."

There's a quaintness about stadiums built when Woodrow Wilson was President but it doesn't mean comfort, good sightlines, decent bathrooms and awesome food.

LA Coliseum fell into this category because it was built during Prohibition.

But the renovation and upgrades have made it a modern, comfortable, foody fun place to watch a game. It's one of the few CFB stadiums that feels like a modern Pro stadium and not just a place for students to congregate and chug beers.

And Oracle is renowned for having the best food and drinks in MLB...not just hot-dogs and Bud light like most ballparks.

The NFL should have never allowed a professional game be played on a dirt and grass baseball field.
Pee wee football teams don't even do that.
I don't think any college teams do either, but I could be wrong. Probably some liberal arts school up North probably does it

The old Veterans Stadium in Philly

THIS.

I have been to a LOT of ballparks and stadiums, and went here in September 1988 for a
Phillies game. By far, it was the worst. Sterile, dual-purpose stadium in the industrial fringes some distance from the true downtown. Terrible field surface, too. Yuck.

Second place is probably the Kingdome; was there in its last year for baseball (1998). Felt like a tomb. Had to go outside in the rain to switch levels via ramps.

Football is a little different; if you are there for a team you cheer for, you are more into the game and amenities are not as big of deal. Can't say I've really had a bad experience in any one.

If I am correct, Oakland was the last stadium from the old AFL still hosting pro football.

man everyone complains about the older stadiums...I have never had a problem. Just like people complaining about the bathrooms and food at Tiger stadium....i mean frick eat before you get there. why would you go to a stadium to eat? Also who cares if you have to piss in a horse trough?

All the people that complain about seats being too small...wtf how big a boy are you? and hardly ever at baseball games is every seat fille next to you

Im under 40 and know i am in the minority on this for sure, but so long as the site lines are good...thats all i need to enjoy the game if the atmosphere is good.

I get complaining about site lines, seat distance from the field, neighborhood etc but got guys in this thread complaining over exposed rebar, like that fricking affects the expierence fricking rebar...talking about first world problems.

Agreed, that's why I said I don't think Legion Field is even that bad. At the end of the day, nearly all college stadiums are the same: large bowl and metal bleachers. I don't care if there's a Chickfila in the stadium, beer garden, SRO platform, etc. I can appreciate a nice stadium, but one with fewer amenities isn't going to have a huge impact on my experience

The only complaints I have about the Rose Bowl are that it's hard to get to, there aren't enough bathrooms and you have to leave the stadium to even get to them.

For Football
Roc Hanson Field at Western Illinois You dressed a half mile from the field and they extended halftime to give you time to get to and from the field. When the NCAA moved in the uprights, they just took 2 ion bars and welded it to the cross bar.

Plaster Sports Complex had the worst visitors dressing room ever, it was small and had to dress teams in shifts and sometimes in the concourse of the stadium. I am glad I never had a team dress there. Plus our headset situation was god awful with a 1950's scoreboard and Omni Turf

Tropicana Field a close second, but at least the Trop wasn't old and filthy.

Went this summer. I'm surprised it's home to a MLB team. Like you said, at least it was clean and I think the lease is up in 2024 and they're looking to build a new stadium in St Petersburg or relocate.
