Why would there be bench clearing brawls? Are insinuating that the Astros are doing something that other teams are not?

They're not all using technology to steal signs.

I have good sources that say the Astros have already hired Mike Tyson, Connor McGregor, and Tito Ortiz as athletic trainers. Basically, they’ll be cheating during those bench clearing brawls too.

Really it is going to be Under unless the Astros start the brawls by throwing at people first. You know Greinke is not throwing at anyone and JV just wants to win so he will not.

I doubt many pitchers retaliate just because no one knows the scope of how far they cheated. All teams have cheated the Astros were just further along and better organized about it than most teams.

You do know the Yankees and Red Sox were fined an undisclosed amount for doing the same thing in ‘17 right?

But they were not fined "for the same thing" the Red Sox were fined for using apple watches to relay pitches and the Yankees were fined for using the dugout phone improperly. Nothing with monitors, trash cans, or buzzers.

are you gatekeeping breaking the rules to get an advantage now? your infractions didn't work as well as ours so they don't count

Are people really running with the buzzer thing, still? Can we at least limit the butthurt to things that actually happened.

I've stated several times I have no issues with sign stealing as it is part of the game. I do have issues with using technology to break those rules. The Astros from everything I've read/seen/heard had an elaborate that was further along than every other team and more precise. So congrats on the Astros on being ahead of everyone else.

Sad thing is they had some great coaches/players who easily could pick out the signs a player was tipping pitches from Beltran to Cora to Altuve but now we will never know what was legit and what was manufactured.

I hope MLB comes down on any team who cheated in the way the Astros did even if it is the Yankees because while I don't mind picking up signs I do mind that type of cheating since it isn't part of the game.
