Others have exceptions. It’s not just for Novak. The fact is you have the number one player in the world in limbo. It doesn’t speak well for your country.
Having lived in Australia, every thing they do is driven by emotion. They switch Prime Ministers like you switch your your radio dial. They never think long term consequences of their legislation (e.g. rolling blackouts while mining large amounts of coal and exporting LNG.)
I’m betting they align with China in the next 20 years over the west.

They’re playing tennis. You mostly stand around by yourself when you play tennis. They should stop being pussies altogether but if that’s out then absolutely a special exception should be made.

These records are very hard to get as the window narrows as you age and injuries become an issue.
Novak has a stringent physical regiment so he tends to avoid injuries but time catches up to us all.

The whole thing is a mess. At least they are not just bowing down and changing rules (even if they are stupid) to a famous athlete. I do believe there is a good chance they were waiting on this to use it as a political tool.
In regards to Novak putting other performance enhancing drugs that are not allowed I can pretty much guarantee you he does not. The guy is a freak when it comes to his health and what he puts in his body.

It’s absolutely political as they said they would accept the exemption approved by the 2 committees for this tournament and then turned around and denied it when Australians lost their mind over Djokovic getting an exception when Australians have been subjected to such stringent regulations.
