It could have been an undefeated Ohio St vs. ND last year. Chalk it up to another break for Alabama.

You can't tell me they would not have been in that game had they been eligible and won the B1G

Media would have done a 180 to get that matchup.

definitely the worst offensive display by far.

Yep. Sucks because the LSU D played great and kept them in the game for 3 1/2 quarters.

ND 2013, LSU 2012, OSU 2007, OU 2005 and Nebraska 2002 were all terrible performances. LSU's obviously stands out because of the shutout, but the other 4 games were blowouts by halftime.

Shittiest performance in the title game though I agree

41-14 disagrees.

It's not even close. You want a playoff? LSU gave it to you. Give me a team with a better resume without a ring. Undefeated in SEC, beat Rose Bowl champs at neutral site, Orange Bowl champs at their place, national champs at their place. Like I said, not even close

you are talking about Fla. State's offense in the 2000 game, right?

2006 was a much worse game for Ohio State than 2007.

No question about it.

ETA: 2007 we had TODD fricking BOECKMAN as our starting QB

Because in 06, ESPN spent a month telling you how badly OSU was going to whoop UF.

I watched that game with a group of OSU fans at their house after telling them for a week Florida would smoke them. I can still see the disbelief in their eyes

lost at home to an unranked Illinois.

not that Ill was a powerhouse, but they were in the Rose Bowl and didn't win the B1G, so they had to be in the top 16 at the end of the season.

We came out extremely flat, but we just got beat down. It was very uncharacteristic of that team IMO.

The SEC should thank Ohio State for propping them up so much.

They were 12-0 playing a much better schedule that 2011 Alabama. We got it, you hate Notre Dame and were glad Bama finally beat them.

Our Defense was legit in 2002, it was exposed in 2006.

Our offense was built not to make mistakes, and we made plenty of those in 2006 and 2007.

Krenzel actually took care of the ball.

There was an illegal block in the back that wasn't called on that play. It broke the field wide open.

Wait.....are we talking about Beanie Wells run or the opening kickoff? Two different games, but I can't remember which one.
