It's the heart, not the height.

I play pickup basketball with a guy who is 5'3", and I delight in the times I am matched up with him (I'm 6'1.5"). I can't even imagine NBA players' excitement playing against a 5'3" player. It truly is unbelievable that he played 15 years. Honestly, I think he deserves to be in the Basketball Hall of Fame (which frankly isn't that hard to make).

Shows how sorry the league was back then.

For real, though. Was his ability to play in a league at his size against all those big dudes a bit of foreshadowing to a way to beat big teams with small lineups? Or has that always been a strategy?

Muggsy, Grandmama and Zo with the Hornets were good times.

Remember when he wanted to beat Larry's arse on Curb Your Enthusiasm?

I always liked Mugsy.

The difference between gim and IT, is that Muggy actually played defense in open court and used his quickness. IT, played "zero" defense. Additionally, Muggy, took the role on as a true PG, whereas IT pretended to be a PG when he actually wanted to score.

I am a complete scrub. Grew 1 foot in 2 years, and unlike Anthony Davis, I lost a shite ton of coordination.

Dude was a damn badger on defense.

Going from 7th grade to 8th I went from like 5'3 to 6' I looked like a fricking string bean. Came to school with that stupid sun in shite in my hair, too. Man I got clowned so hard. But I could jump up and grab the rim at recess and they couldn't, losers.
