I lived close to winston salem when he played for wake forrest. Saw him play there several times. Muggsy was really good. putting the ball on the floor in front of him was really dangerous. had he even been 6’0 ft he would have been an allstar every year I think.

He sort of reinvented his game in his last season with the Hornets. Injuries started to catch up with him, so he was nowhere near as quick and as big of a dribble drive threat. Because of that, he developed a pretty good jump shot and took advantage of Vlade Divac’s ability to pass the ball from the paint.
Just another indication of how he good he really was, even with at his height.
