Nomination for Best Fan Bases

Spinoff to the worst fan bases, what are some of the best in terms of being diehard, yet not trashy? Went to the Rose Bowl two years ago where the Badgers played Oregon and their fan base was out in full force, yet very friendly and respectful. From talking to quite a few, they were very passionate about their team, but weren't obnoxious or trashy.

Had nothing but positive interactions with Iowa fans when LSU played them in the Cap One Bowl... but that was almost 20 years ago now.
Same with Washington fans when LSU played up there.

Aggie was a very hospitable fanbase for games at College Station.
I’m going to be outright biased and just point out that for years the cooking clubs at both our home baseball and softball games in Lafayette load up opposing players and coaches with plate lunches/dinners as they get on their bus to return home.

Steelers are everywhere.
And usually will buy you a beer in a bar.
They didn't become dicks like Pats and Sox fans after success.
Steelers fans are probably the most national and they aren't abrasive.

What is best fan?
I mean South Carolina Football fans show up no matter how bad they are. I would say the best fans I have been around are probably Iowa fans They arent rude, they show up for everything, they usually have knowledge about their teams and who they are playing.

When Aggies came to Athens a couple years ago, their fans were great. Enjoyed partying with them

Went to the LSU game at Lambeau in 2016. Wisconsin fans were cool as hell.

Nebraska. There's nothing like them. The sellout streak, and the way they treat the opposing teams & fans. I still remember them giving Southern Miss a standing ovation after they went to Lincoln and beat the Huskers.

Wisconsin gets my vote. Really enjoyed tailgating with them. Wish we would make them a yearly out of conference rival. Turn into the greatest party game.

In 2011 at Jerryworld some Oregon fans behind me told me to sit down (in the lower bowl). That automatically invalidates them. They weren't rude about it, but the 70+ yo lady down row from me was also standing. If she's standing I'm standing.

Oregon fans aren't trashy but a lot of them are socially awkward.
