So stupid. I hope someone in the Dolphins org causes a big stink about this and puts pressure on the league to reverse its decision to suspend him. Give him a game suspension (which isn't warranted either) and the kid doesn't lose his credentials and the NFL gets to look like they punished him a bit. The whole season, and possibly forever, is fricking dumb.

well the rules say people on the field are prohibited from engaging in, or taking part in any player actions on the field. that also includes assisting in demonstrations.
the rule is to prevent having people who arent doing their jobs, but are instead helping set up and help create celebrations or demonstrations

Not saying I wouldn't still watch at all, but if it weren't for fantasy football, my watch time would be drastically lower

The NFL is extremely and irrationally strict on who gets field access during a game. Honestly, I'm surprised he got credentials in the first place.
I did some broadcast and still photography work in the early 90's and the difference between college and the NFL was shocking. People lost credentials every NFL game I worked for various reasons. One thing not tolerated at all was cheering/showing favoritism for any team/player and definitely no player interaction. Pre and post game was slightly looser, but when the network telecast was on the air, they were nazis about it. Obviously this pre-dated social media and teams having their own in-house videographers.
