Just don't like the takeout like he was going down just to juke them and turn on the jets. Defense backed off a step when they thought he was going down.
Now, the lazy arse Steelers secondary might have assumed it was a slide. Whatever they did, it was the opposite of hustle.

As a Steelers fan, I am still stunned at how this team won 10 games. It was an odd year. But Tomlin knows how to do it. Unfortunately his teams aren’t Playoff caliber other than reaching them. I like the guy. I think he’s the right man for the job. Problem is, does he still think so? He will not be fired. But will he step away on his own after the season? We shall see.

Tomlin your only goddamned chance is to put in Pickett. Your entire fricking team is as lifeless as Katherine Hepburn. Do something different, try something else, whatever your plan B is you need to be doing it.

Just change rule to anyone within a yard of qb will not be called for a foul if he hits the qb during a slide. QBs would start sliding earlier then.

BS. He slowed down, he did not juke. Steelers defenders slowed to a stop when Allen stepped it up. NFL is a joke. They hit Allen while slowing down or starting his slide knowing he’ll get lit up is a 15 yard personal foul. Effin joke.

Allen clearly pulled up before he sprint through. Defenders stopped because they didn’t want to risk the flag in case he went down. Allen used the rules to his advantage.

Just change the rules to say that the QB can’t cross the line of scrimmage under any circumstances and be done with it.
