That's what players were saying when they first put in the helmet contact rules. It would cause more knee shots and they were saying they can play through concussions.. they can't play through a blown out knee. They'd rather make money and deal with the consequences later. And you can't blame them.

That’s a tough decision to decline or accept, I can see the merits of both

Yeah, but it's a CB/Safety hitting a big ol' TE. Hitting them up high is a recipe for about 15 YAC.

They always cut the TEs with a shoulder pad to the thigh.
