I mean it’s in his possession with 2 feet in even after it moved and it never hits the ground when hes on the ground

I’m all bengals here but I think that’s the right call based on current rules. Unfortunately.
Yup hate the rule but not a catch by the rule. Personally I hate all of the continuation of catch, make a football move stuff but it is what it is.

Guys, you gotta secure the ball, get two feet down, secure the ball, take 5 steps, make a football move, then do a two step shuffle and the Megan dance and secure the ball. Obviously no catch.
NFL is a joke.

It's just a ridiculous rule. He caught it, possessed it with 2 feet inbounds, but because he lost control on the ground it isn't a catch, yet he never dropped it.

Ball was moving before he even put two feet down. How do you guys not see it. Lol

this is the real problem here. As soon as the second foot is down with control nothing else should matter
If he can’t perform a football move, he has to control it though the ground.. which he did not
He didn’t complete the process

It’s a fricking catch in every sense of the word other than the ridiculous rules that can’t account for every normal act of the human body and process of catching an object
if you slow any replay down close enough there will be movement of a football as a player grabs the ball and pulls it in or tucks it away

Before he bobbled it it was possession in the endzone.
Not really, 2 feet isnt enough for possession according to the rules

Maybe because he took both hands off the ball while he was still sliding on his back.

he never dropped it. Means he maintained control
