quote:Imo the rules should absolutely deem that a catch and TD
I mean it’s in his possession with 2 feet in even after it moved and it never hits the ground when hes on the ground
I guess they don’t, though

Is this just LSU rage in this thread?

It’s a fricking catch in every sense of the word other than the ridiculous rules that can’t account for every normal act of the human body and process of catching an object
Exactly. The lack of common sense that goes into the rule is more troubling to me.

Its cool if the ball barely crosses the plane but if the dude takes 3-4 steps after a catch, its not good enough

I just hate the difference in a TD for a runner vs a receiver
Yup.
Ball tip just barely crosses the pylon/line auto TD even if the ball is "fumbled" etc right after.
If any possession is shown with two feet down within the endzone...probably should be a TD with the same standards.

Two feet down and grab it but don’t pull it into your body because that can cause movement even if you never lose it.
Yet if you made that same play in the middle of the field it’s a catch.
And if he made the same play yet didn’t fall to the ground it’s a catch
All of it is ridiculous. Two hands on the ball and ball doesn’t hit the ground while your feet are in bounds is a catch. You literally caught the ball

NFL is rigged. The guys in the booth and the "rules expert" are only there to sell you on the lie.
