Such bullshite. The fix is in for this one. NFL going to do all they can for a feel-good story and get Hamlin/Bills into Super Bowl.

That should never be an incompletion. He's already caught the ball, taken 3 steps, falls to the ground, then has a defender jump on top of him and knock it loose. You can't knock it loose from a running back once they're already on the ground or out of bounds. What's the difference. Bull. shite.

you'd be yelling so hard that ball was incomplete if it was Buffalo dropping the catch.

The whole Controlling the ball through the ground can be debated, but the rule as written, applied here was correct

By the rule, it’s not a catch. But it’s a dumb arse rule. He has two hands on it and two feet down across the goal line. That’s a TD if he’s a runner. This surviving the ground bull shite on a catch but the ground can’t cause a fumble is just dumb.

The NFL rule book is full of rules that lack common sense and needs to be rewritten.

I mean the ball rolls in his hands while standing, then slides down his chest into his stomach when he hits the ground.

In what world is that a catch?

Full possession at the time of 3 feet down in bounds. It’s a fricking catch in the real world

Really don’t get them overturning that

Maybe because he took both hands off the ball while he was still sliding on his back.

Arm gets pulled away after 3 feet down and a knee and there are immediately 800 angles to find some reason to overturn it.

Bills making a low catch on the ground and Allen possibly fumbles and they show a slow replay of the OLine at the start of the play, never showing the only part of the play in question.

There was no doubt that was being overturned to keep this closer if that ball even thought about moving.

He secured the ball when he had two feet in the end zone. Play over, TD. Then, after the conclusion of the play, he falls out of bounds and ball bobbles - irrelevant.

Correct call ball was completely out of both hands.
