Why haven't they done this after a white person was murdered by the cops?

Why are all the NFL players in the video only "black people" killed by the cops?

Black people have a better shot at being struck by lightning than being shot by a cop.

But they do have a very good chance of being shot by one of their own.

But yes, White cops target black people.

What is it that the NFL is supposed to do. The NFL did hasn't pulled a trigger or kneeled on the neck of a single player.

If the NFL hasn't killed anyone, then what action are they supposed to be making then

NFLs response

quote:

“We, the NFL, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier ... We, the NFL, believe Black Lives Matter.”

Roger Goodell responds to the message from the players. (via @NFL)

I hate all this just like the next guy. But I'm going to watch. They are just there for entertainment. Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, all of them. I don't take what they say all that seriously.

Unless they play for the Falcons, then it's all serious.

Media 101. Don’t use the word powerful twice in the same sentence.

Police officers to stop killing unarmed black men. How are we years into this and y’all still don’t get it?

Unfortunately, police officers are going to keep killing unarmed black and white men. But hopefully it will be statistically minimal like it is now And continue to hope they are tried and brought to justice

Forgot mention in the last post, but they’re also asking for reform of police unions that actively work to cover for the “bad apples”. Why asking for us as a society to be better makes people want to revoke their Saints season tickets is just baffling to me.

I don’t think that’s why, at least bit for me. I 100% agree police need reform

I think it’s more to do with multiple team members playing a very instrumental role in helping tarnish the character of the greatest player and person ever to wear a saints uniform, and then the head coach and organization saying nothing to stand up for that players character

I don’t feel he’s been tarnished. He clearly has a long record of supporting the community of his team.

If anything he’s now listening to the concerns of his teammates whose life experiences he’s never had to go thru. Maintaining the locker room is tantamount of a successful team leader.
