Crazy how many star players in both college and pro have gone down this year.

I truly think off season work is not as tough and it’s showing with these athletes

He has blood clots. Please explain how off season work not being ‘tough enough’ would have caused that?

It’s malpractice they let him play last week
He could have died on the field

It wasn’t just in reference to Hurts

And the truth comes out
It was malpractice to let him play that game

Imagine being dumb enough to believe that not being "tough " causes blood clots.

Holy shite.

He had a DVT. A blood clot that if dislodged can suddenly kill a person if it travels to the lungs and blocks blood flow. Hmm I wonder what could cause it to dislodge, maybe a hit from a 300 lb D tackle?

Not even mentioning they found actual blood clots in his lungs and let him play the game

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought he had only a superficial thrombus initially when he played. If true he wasn’t “dying on the field”

Don't think y'all realize how massive this story is. Hurts will sue the eagles and possibly the league over this b/c he will never play again.

From my understanding, they made decisions off of what the medical professionals in London told them. Hurts also had a say in playing. It’s not like he was forced to go play or face consequences.

I feel like this is about to get blown out of proportion.

I work with people with DVTs and superficial clots every week. I’m very aware of how they work.

The superficial clot isn’t a huge deal. I’m assuming the clot was closer to the deeper venous system than doctors him to believe or he was misdiagnosed?

Well now he has bilateral pulmonary emboli. But sure, the NFL docs were fine letting him play

Yeah.. I don't think they are going to be able to use that defense since he was awake for 36 hours when he made that decision.

Syracuse is starting QB4 due to injuries. Not that any of them were stars. That hadn't been determined yet when the dominoes started falling.
