If you've broken a leg or ankle you are in pain and not giving waves and smiling to the crowd.

I had a spiral fracture of my left shin above the ankle 11 years ago. I felt okay until the shock and adrenaline wore off a couple of hours later. That's when the actual pain kicked in.

I think the medical people have these things like epi pens but it’s morphine or some other pain killer that they can just jab them with real quick.

Ask anyone who has broken a leg or ankle. Pain meds don't work that quick

don’t know if they give them a quick IV of something, an injection of something, or a nerve block, but it’s gotta be something, right?

I would think they would want to get his vitals first before giving him something like that but who knows.

I for one am glad they didn't show it. I think I'm at the point where I've seen enough broken leg videos for a lifetime.

First thing I thought of was the scene in Saving Private Ryan when the Dr gets shot and they have little single use injections of morphine. If they had them then I'm sure they do now
