I’m surprised they haven’t tried a line like that to get young men to get vaxxed

All data about the virus proves your statement is false.

Testing an asymptomatic vaccinated person is buttfricking retarded. Do people not understand that?

Testing asymptomatic people is stupid no matter your vaccine status.

Do NOT go to work when you are sick. Do NOT send your kid to school when they are sick. Wait until you feel better in both scenarios. I have just solved the Covid crisis and many other future outbreak issues.

This has been the sports world the last year.

But sorry.

Go home and quarantine. Big10 basically shut down.

No.

The teeth gnashing for the past months against the unvaccinated have been to "make their lives hell" just for not getting the shot.

They are not concerned about the folks who aren't vaccinated.

There are two possibilities here. (1) folks in charge are idiots or (2) they are virtue signaling and will keep testing folks no matter what

Yes, but they are either afraid of being sued or afraid to be the first organization to just stop testing because of the backlash they'll receive. This world is just a clown show.

Sounds familiar

Trump and his supporters are nazis though. What a joke of a league

PGA Tour already stopped testing, I believe.

Either way, I can tell you what the backlash would be... Liberals would scream and cry for a couple of days, and then they'd forget about it and move on to their next thing to scream and cry about.

The league just went through an entire season, at a time when the virus was purportedly out of control and no vaccine existed. Exactly ZERO players developed serious health problems. So just how big of a risk are we looking to eliminate? The data from last season seems to suggest it is extremely minimal, at best. Plus, the vaccine is widely available. Those choosing not to take it are doing so willingly. So why do they need the league to "protect" them?

FTR, I'm not advocating NOT being vaccinated if you feel your risk analysis suggests you should. But it is beyond ridiculous to force people to inject a foreign substance into their body under threat of financial penalty in order to avoid what appears to be a very, very small risk. Is the risk zero? Of course not. But....
