Mitch Trubisky as a 2 year stop-gap while the Steelers fix the rest of their roster isn't a bad solution at all.

Hes better than 2021 Roethlisberger, and the Steelers went 9-7-1 with Ben, and without 2 of their best DL.

Is he? What exactly tells you that?

Big Ben is washed but pretty much any stat from last year would be a career high for tribisky.

It’s certainly possible that Mitch has gotten a lot better over the last year and Big Ben would’ve continued to decline with another year, but to say it so matter of factly with not any real evidence to back it up doesn’t really make a lot of sense

Mobility is the biggest area - which if you watched the Steelers in every game, every pass Big Ben threw last year, was a 3 yard hitch/out route, or a long moon ball.

Mobility gives them more options in the run game with Najee, and gives them something they didnt have last year with being able to avoid pressure in the pocket.

Ben's stats last year were highly misleading, and a significant amount in most games came in garbage time.

The Christian Kirk deal with the #Jaguars is gigantic: He's expected to sign a deal that will come in at the 4-year, $68M range, per @AdamSchefter. That would be $17M per season. Might end up being more.

Exact numbers coming soon...

That's a lot of money for a WR that hasn't had a 1000 yard season

Every team in the league pissed at Jags for screwing up the WR FA market. Sheesh.

Coming from his agent. Probably gets $20 mill if he wins MVP every year.

Def need to see the actual numbers.

From the Jags perspective, I guess:

They desperately need WR talent to pair with Lawrence.
They have a huge amount of cap room yearly
No one wants to sign there without overpaying.

Should of gone with AB instead of signing an unproven WR to that type of deal Jesus. Just as crazy of a move

Mike Garafolo
@MikeGarafolo

The #Eagles have agreed to terms with pass rusher Haason Reddick, source says. Three years, $45 million with $30 million fully guaranteed at signing. Max value $49.5 million.

The Camden native and former #Temple Owl is coming home.

There is no state income tax in Florida and the NFLPA still tells players not to sign their because of how shitty their ownership is. Think of how terrible other ownership groups are, not just in the NFL, but the big 4 sports leagues as a whole. Literally no other team in the NFL nor any other big 4 team has ever had their player’s union tell its membership not to sign with a team.

Jacksonville deserves better ownership.
