All the top guys got tagged so what was left got inflated a bit. Doesn’t really make sense to me that TE salaries are so far behind WR salaries, even only looking at the top guys

“I mean look at the market, look at what Kirk got! Of course Zay Jones would get that much” - Jags GM, probably

“Uhh that was y’all who gave Kirk that deal”

“I don’t see your point”

That’s incredibly bad on the part of the Jags.

Looking at the contracts Denver gave both Sutton and Patrick, and comparing them to these contracts, makes Denver come out looking fresh.

They are having to overpay to get people there.

Zay jones isn't a bad receiver.

From what I can gather, Denver wants Chandler Jones and Randy Gregory over Von Miller as of now. If they strike out on those two, they likely go hard after the Vonster.

He was very low on the Raiders depth chart for 3 years barely seeing the field. Injuries and Ruggs murder gave him a look last year and he was "okay". Certainly not worth that imo.

Safe to say the LA Chargers are cleaning up during FA.

Khalil Mack
JC Jackson
Sebastian Joseph-Day

The AFC West will be a bloodbath.

That’s fine, but why are you overpaying Zay Jones to be get there? That doesn’t make sense he’s a replacement level WR. Hell even the best thing you can say about him is:

quote:

Zay jones isn't a bad receiver.

There will be a handful of WRs who get cut during training camp that can probably give you the same value as a guy like Zay Jones and there will definitely be 4-5 guys in this class atleast that will give you that value and more

2 years/ 14 mil for tribisky. Not nearly as bad as I was imagining when they framed it as “we are signing Mitch as our starter” when he signed. That’s usually what you say right before you give Teddy Bridgewater 60 million dollars

ETA “worth up to 27 mil”. Curious what those incentives are and if they are considered LTBE or not
