It’s just absolute proof that a 12 team playoff in college football is so unnecessary. They’ll fix it though. By expanding to MOAR playoff teams. It’s ridiculous

Question shouldn't be why should Bama get in over Ole Miss and USC. Question is why should PSU (if lose), OSU and ND get in over any of them.
Hell yeah brother should just be the SEC invitational!
SEC! SEC! SEC!

They rewarded Alabama with a bye week entry into the championship game when it was only TWO teams, they’ll 100% do it in this format

Can someone please tell me what's the logic of having Bama over Miami, but Ole Miss is behind Bama. Especially when you consider that Ole Miss resume is fairly comparable to Bama's.

Hell, BYU has a better strength of record than Miami, and fewer losses to unranked teams than Bama and Ole Miss, but the committee has them at #18, which even ESPN.com acknowledges is stupid. None of it makes sense.

What happens if Clemson wins the ACC championship?
SMU should stay in but slide down to the last at large seed with Clemson one spot ahead of them.
I want Clemson to win just for the shitshow drama.

I love being right. I told you all Bama would get in with three losses. They will never be eliminated for any reason whatsoever. They will always change the narrative as well to get them in.
CFB is an absolute joke now. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

You guys actually meet for days and come up with these rankings?? @CFBPlayoff Do you actually watch the quality of players, teams, and road environments (we played in one of yours this year ??) or just try and make the ACC feel relevant ?? Btw one of your teams paid us not to play again next year. Same #12 spot you guys had Clemson ranked last week. How did that go against the @SEC??? Rewatch UGA Clemson closely if you want a reminder of the two conferences. #SpotTheBall anywhere @ACCFootball #RemeberTakeAKnee

What? Miami lost to a ranked team on the road by 4 points and a 7-5 team that took UGA to 8 OTs on the road by 5 points.
Compare that to Bama losing to two 6-6 teams including one by three TDs and them together by a combined 26 point.
What horrible losses
South Carolina had a bad loss to Ole Miss, okay, but that is a top 15 team and they were dealing with significant injuries. Bama again lost by 21 points to a team that went 2-6 in the SEC.
Some of y’all live to cherry pick stats and make shite up though.
The argument, whether you agree with it or not is that Alabama has proven it can beat good teams. Miami has not. Alabama has proven that it has a variance where it can compete with the top teams, but also lose to mediocre teams. Miami has proven that it can both win and lose to mediocre teams. It hasn't proven that it can beat good teams.

Miami will likely get in if UNLV beats Boise. UNLV will probably not be ranked high enough to make it.
At one point there was a discussion that the 5th conference champion would have to be ranked in the top 16, but that never came to fruition. The 5th champion gets in regardless of it's ranking. Which is stupid. With the Big12 being so weak, and the Pac12 no longer existing they should only have 4 autobids for conference champions.

SMU getting in with a loss to Clemson is way more egregious than Bama getting in. SMU should absolutely be out if they lose. They have 0 ranked wins, I don’t think you should get rewarded for just GETTING to the conference championship and losing

Or one of the teams that actually beat you, Lane (at home, nonetheless). Louisville pounded Kentucky on the road last weekend.
