Have you not watch Nuss.

It's crazy how bad his mechanics are being that he has been attending the passing academy since he been old enough to throw. To his credit though, the Texas receivers were dropping a lot of balls right in their hands and then when he makes a bad throw, the focus is on Eli and not all the missed catches.

Nuss has followed a different trajectory-- a perfect parabola with a low "y" value in relation to "x", almost like a line drive home run destined by gravity to return to the ground.

Never seen anything like Arch
Having the talent to be a professional in any sport is one in millions ands millions, he was 75% hype 25% ability anyway. Like everything else in our society the media is mostly bullshite. If his name had been Arch Munson he would be in Natchitoches, McNeese or SAU. Its not hard to understand. The dude is a genius in my opinion. He will have FU money from this charade.

Had his name not been Manning, he would have been a 3 star at best.

I still think he’s growing and could be really good
I agree.
Also, lastnight his receivers were dropping everything!
If Texas had all the drops back, that’s a tight game in the 4th. Maybe even Texas in the lead.

Similar to Nuss
You're an idiot if you think this. NUSS had been injured all yr, along with a HORRIBLE O line and HORRENDOUS OC. Of course hes going to look half the qb he was last yr. Common sense will tell you that

What does that have to do with you saying he’s not SEC good?

It's cause he isnt good
Anyone who’s followed him in high school knows this to be true. He never elevated his team to beat teams with equal or more talent than Newman. His production was always against weaker opponents. Same thing is true about his college career so far. He’s an average quarterback and the only reason he was a prized recruit was because of his last name

Hope he stays at Texas for one more year.
Where else is he going to go? SFA? he's not getting drafted
He looks confused reading defenses, Statistically, he's the 76th as far as Pass % (considering all the dump routes he throws he's even worse than that stat would indicate), 61st in Yards per Pass, 51 in over all QB Rating - numbers don't lie, he SUCKS
Posted on 11/16/25 at 1:33 pm to LQTiger
one more telling stat - Catchable pass rate: 71.9% ranked 119th nationally

That’s the work ethic of these kids showing. They’d rather dance and make reels than watch film and throw balls.

I don't see what many of you here see. I see a young qb with massive potential. Great size, strong arm, can run.
He will be a very high draft pick and an excellent pro qb.

I've been saying this for a long while. They are just like Bama, except with money. No double-wides to 2nd mortgage, just oil money.

played solid yesterday. His receivers had numerous big time drops. Arch has progressively gotten better and if you can’t see that you are blind.
This. Everyone is taking shots at him like he fricked their daughters. Kid is progressing nicely in a dumb as frick offense with no receivers. Seriously I think Sark is back on the drink

When you give any kid close to 7 million dollars in NIL , then tell him he is the greatest , where is the motivation to work super hard perfecting your craft ? Just human nature .

strong arm
He has terrible throwing mechanics and does not have a strong arm at all.
Any of the previously mentioned QBs who made big jumps from one year to another had strong arms and much better mechanics than Arch. It is what it is.
He's a decent runner who excels at the short passing game, that's about it.
Posted on 11/16/25 at 2:04 pm to SlidellCajun
He has poor mechanics that lead to accuracy and repeatability issues.

The motivation should be him becoming a billionaire QB…
